Eng. Abdinasir Mohamed Haybe: From Tesco Delivery Driver to Cisco Network Engineer, Softcat.
Eng. Abdinasir graduated from university with a degree in IT and Networking in 2015. Without practical IT skills and lack of guidance, Abdinasir struggled to access the tech industry. He started working at Tesco as a delivery driver. Then he came across the GlobalNet through friends and began learning new skills. This started him down an exciting new career path.
Over the next yea , Abdinasir immersed himself in learning Microsoft and Cisco technologies with GlobalNet. Eng. Abdinasir gained confidence started looking professional IT jobs. After few attempts, he landed his first IT job in March 2017 with Martindale Pharmaceutical as 1st/2nd Line support.
While he was still working at Martindale, he continued to develop his skills and knowledge further. He completed the CCNP R&S with GlobalNet.
After completing his CCNP R&S course, he started looking advanced networking roles. Today, Eng. Abdinasir is working with a leading blue chip company Softcat as a Cisco Support Analyst.
Eng. Abdinasir still considers himself as self-motivated learner and he considers to shift his career to Cloud and Security.
