Apple Fixed It! – MiniDV/HDV Camcorders work again with Mac's via FireWire!
This is a follow up to my previous video which showed how Apple broke FireWire support for camcorders in macOS 12.3 and 12.3.1. This video shows the update process and how it starts working again. To install the update go to System Preferences and then Software Update and if you don’t see the update press CMD + R to force a refresh. Install macOS 12.4 or newer and then the issue will be resolved!
