Linux Mint Debian Edition 4 was released on March 20, 2020. LMDE is Linux Mint on top of a pure Debian base. The Cinnamon desktop looks and acts beautiful, just like the standard Linux Mint based on Ubuntu. The installer works a lot like the Ubiquity installer and the UEFI installation on real hardware went flawlessly. If you are wanting to run the Cinnamon desktop on Debian, LMDE 4 is a great option. All the conveniences of Linux Mint and a pure Debian base, what could be better? Have fun. 🙂
